Visa/Immigration Information

C1/D Visas:
All staff members require a C1/D visa that is valid for the entire length of their contract. If your visa has or is due to expire, please contact Back on Boardon backonboard@theonboardspa.com who will send you the necessary paperwork to apply for a new visa. Please ensure you allow plenty of time to arrange for your visa before your contract.

Schengen Visas:
Schengen Visas will be required if you are a citizen of the following country:

  • Jamaica
  • Macedonia
  • Pakistan
  • South Africa
  • Eastern Europe
  • Philippines

Schengen Visas are required for staff members of the above nationalities who are embarking in ‘Schengen Countries’ which are listed below -

  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • France
  • Germany
  • Iceland
  • Italy
  • Greece
  • Luxembourg
  • Netherlands
  • Norway
  • Portugal
  • Spain
  • Sweden

ALWAYS CHECK WITH YOUR TRAVEL AGENT IF YOU REQUIRE A VISA TO JOIN YOUR VESSEL IN THE EMBARKATION PORT

Canadian Visa:
Staff members from the below countries will require a Canadian visa if they are embarking the ship in a Canadian port. Citizens of the following countries require this visa:

  • Bulgaria
  • Columbia
  • Slovakia
  • South Africa
  • Phillipines

ALWAYS CHECK WITH YOUR TRAVEL AGENT IF YOU REQUIRE A VISA TO JOIN YOUR VESSEL IN THE EMBARKATION PORT

Immigation Information:
An Immigration letter is needed by all nationalities coming into the United Kingdom for training.
