About Back On Board

The dedicated members of the Back on Board program can assist you in choosing a suitable vessel to return to based on your past contract experience and past revenue earnings. Once you have chosen a vessel you would like to return to, you can fill in the online Back on Board application form. Once you have submitted the form, we will try to find a suitable vacancy as close as possible to the time you are wishing to return. It helps to be flexible on the time you are wishing to return to sea and the vessel you will work on, as we can only place you where we have suitable vacancies.

How do we decide what vessel is suitable for you?

In order for staff members to exceed in the workplace, they need to be happy and comfortable in their surrounding environments, that’s why at Back on Board we feel it is important that staff members are working on vessels that suit their personalities and experience. The suitability of ships is decided upon based on the following factors:

  • Age
  • Personality
  • Quality of treatments when assessed at the academy
